Waypoint Website

Waypoint, formerly Virginia Home for Boys and Girls, is a nonprofit campus and community partner that offers transitional living, specialized education, and advocacy programs for young people seeking stability, belonging, and support. To reflect their evolving mission, the organization required a comprehensive rebrand centered on their core philosophy, compassion is the compass. As a project designer on this effort, I worked alongside my team to guide the strategic and visual transformation, contributing directly to the naming process, creative strategy, and an initial brand workshop, as well as supporting three launch events.

Requirements & Result

The project required establishing a modern identity and communication strategy that embodied Waypoint’s brand personality of being agile while fully authentic. I designed the core brand identity, a suite of branded materials, and the organization’s website, ensuring every touchpoint communicated their commitment to personalized care and systemic advocacy. The resulting rebrand successfully established a cohesive, authentic presence that honors Waypoint’s long-standing history while providing an adaptable foundation to engage donors, partners, and the clients they serve.
